A Romanian beggar sitting on the side of the road, unfortunately, a common sight in Helsinki today. this summer there were about 230 staying temporarily in Helsinki. I would not be able to endure this life.
An other one is just 20 meters away but he plays the accordion…

Excellent captures Ritva and yes, we have the same here. I wouldn’t be able to endure that either.
but I have to say, that they bother me, begging. And knowing that someone collects the money from them…
I know the feeling Ritva and we never give them anything around here. It only enables them and the ones that use them.
The Romany must be all over Europe by now, I feel … it is said – or should I say, I read that they don’t mind at all: that is it accepted by them as how they live.
Certainly, there is no solution to this.
