Those old benches are true works of art and the photos point this out beautifully. I remember sharpening an axe on an old stone wheel while spending time in Finland on a farm near Yliviaska ?. It was -25C and the water that I poured over the wheel turned into ice immediately.

  I can easily believe that… it so so cold.
  We saw one of thse antik benches for sale and it was over 500 €, so we are happy we got this for free. This is going to be in use, my husband likes to restore old furniture.

great shot and my grand dad had one and passed it down to my dad.
I have no idea where it is now.
