Here are some images from the library, one could assume that people would be reading books, but most seemed to have a phone in their hands.

I love black and white photography – or monochrome, what evet we wish to call it. So under this Monochrome title I will try to post regularly images that I think look good in this format. Hope you enjoy them.

I’m at the library a lot, although not reading there, just returning and checking out books. The library branch closest to us is on the same property as a high school and most of the students in the library are either talking or on their phones. What a waste! Phones also distract so many from nature and the joy of being outdoors. It’s sad.
Sadly it has that effect, our local library is beautifully designed has area so young people can spend time there, a cafe, and an art gallery and areas were you can study. Here is a post about it https://sillarit.com/2020/11/02/how-to-survive-november-2020-2/
I love the old book!
Thanks, someone has really read it
Beautiful photos, especially that one of the old book. It looks like a big library. I like sitting in a library and reading (my phone is usually on silent and in my handbag 😉).
