While in Crete I took few photos of doors, and this green door and it’s surrounding really intrigued me. I am not so sure that I would be so taken by it if I lived there, it needs a bit of love and care, but from a photographers point of view, I really appreciate it.

It is Thursday, and this my second entry to , Thursday Doors!

I can certainly understand your thoughts on this door. I wouldn’t want to have to make all the repairs, but your photos are delightful. The featured photo is ready for a frame in my opinion.
Thanks , that is such a high compliment, I really appreciate you for saying it
Sometimes, the subject (door) is great, sometimes it’s the architecture. Sometimes, a good photo brings out more than what is there.
Thanks Dan, I do take time editing the photos i post. Not just to document them. Mostly staying true to the reality
what wonderful doors!
Once again Sue, appreciate your comments every time,
You are most welcome, Ritva!

Beautiful serie
Thanks Ronald!
Very expressive pictures! But we never know what is behind those weathered doors. I remember seeing similar exteriors on homes in Europe, but inside they were beautifully kept. Your photos intrigue me as to what is inside.
That is true, our summerhouse looked awful from the outside for years, but we did the inside update very soon. Not that its anything like this as it is a cottage… the exterior does not tell the whole story,
An inviting table despite the rustic setting. Very pretty!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
They are amazing images. Anita
Thanks so much Anita, glad you liked them
That is an amazing photo. I like the unfiltered shot the best. It certainly does have character.
