As I drove through the rural area of Kirkkonummi, my eyes were drawn to an old barn building standing by the roadside, quietly whispering for attention through its weathered exterior. The barn, which has clearly weathered the passage of time, seemed to exude a quiet charm that piqued my curiosity, and I couldn’t resist the urge to pull over and capture its essence.I spent some time capturing the details of the barn doors. Surrounded by the enchanting hues of autumn foliage, the scene evoking a sense of nostalgia and peacefulness.

It’s amazing how something so weathered can look so beautiful! Lovely photos Ritva.
I agree, in photos old things look often beautiful
Great photographs Ritva. Sometimes there are gems alongside the road.
I defy any keen photographer to resist that scene, but you’ve captured it particularly beautifully!
It loks like this barn served an important purpose for many years. I love weathered old barns, but I always hope they will receive the care they deserve. The second photo in the group (upper right) is a lovely autumn scene. I love the light.
It’s lovely and deserves a little attention.
I think the slats going in a pattern rather than just straight makes the door/s more attractive and unusual, at least compared to what I usually see here. I really like the little shot (top one of the two) with the beautiful trees.
This looks like it could tell many stories. (K)
Thank you!
A lovely weathered building and door.
Thanks Brenda
