The weather has been rather unpredictable over the past week, with a mix of rain, clouds, and sunshine. It’s one of the hallmarks of summer, especially in July, when the weather can fluctuate dramatically from one day to the next. This kind of variability keeps everyone on their toes, as you never quite know what to expect when you step outside.

For Leanne’s Monochrome Madness.

Monochrome is so powerful in communicating the mood of nature, right?
Here, in Kerala, we are under dark clouds and non stop monsoon rains, I could pretty well relate to the mood …
Thank you for sharing 🙂
Yes that it is for sure, and here we do not have any major weather events, so monsoon is something different than our dark clouds
Here in the tropical Southern India, we have only two seasons, rainy and summer 🙂
But, Monsoon totally changes the whole landscape and it’s GREEN everywhere …
They are so stunning Ritva. I think clouds like that are so good for monochrome, really help create the mood.
So good Ritva
You’ve certainly captured this particular July very well.
Love both images you’ve shared, Ritva.
A cloudy day can be much better for monotone, than blue sky.
We’re having a similarly unpredictable summer! But yours has provided you with some stunningly captured cloudscapes!
This image is wonderful Ritva!
