For this week’s edition of The Flower Hour, I present to you images of the flower commonly referred to as Plumeria or Frangipani. These exquisite and aromatic blooms are a delight for all the senses and carry a plethora of cultural significances from tropical regions across the globe. Plumeria is frequently incorporated into various celebrations and ceremonies, as it symbolically represents love, devotion, and beauty. They exhibit a wide array of colors, ranging from gentle pinks and whites to vivid yellows and reds.

Beautiful flowers . Thanks dear Ritva.
Thank you
Welcome dear Ritva . Have a great day.
Plumeria! Thanks for warming my day with my favorite blossoms. Your pics are beautiful. 👍🏽
Thank you Pepper ❤
What’s not to love about frangipani? And these celebrate its beauty wonderfully. I can almost smell it from here!
I am happy I could almost bring the scent to you
😊
Both names for this beautiful flower live up to its beauty! Gorgeous captures of these, Ritva! I adore plumeria and even grew the yellow and pink in Sacramento a few years ago! Before we moved north, I took the pots to San Diego so my daughter could keep them going. 🌸
It is such a lovely flower, I am happy you were able to transfer it your daughter.
i love that first image, Rita!
Thank you Sue

I agree Sarah, they are.
Aren’t they gorgeous! We mostly see the white one here, but just occasionally a pink and yellow tone xx
I Haven’t seen them here, only when I travel to warmer climates
Such beautiful photos!
Thank you Lynette
A wonderful flower to photograph, one of my favourites and mine are just starting to flower around the garden
You are lucky to have it in your garden Brian.
I have about five frangipanis in the garden, each in a spot to catch a breeze and send their scent into the house 😀
Beautiful and exotic.
Yes, that is to us. Thank you Marie
