We were cautioned about the significant issue of homelessness during our visit to San Francisco several years ago; I’m uncertain about the current situation, but I doubt it has improved significantly. Great capture of real life, Ritva, and sometimes it’s not so pleasant. I have a lot of pictures of the homeless, and I think they tell a story that needs to be addressed.

Coming from a journalism background, I’ve posted some. Got some positive and negative responses. But it is a challenge we face every day.
That is a sad story of the reality of life today.
It is so sad, we don’t have it that bad, but with the our government’s recent decisions it is a growing trend here too.
Sadly, all our big cities here have homeless populations. But I’ve never seen anyone here with a mattress. Simply a bagful of their wordly possessions, which probably includes a blanket or quilt.
