I had to stop the car as driving through the countryside, the side of the road was blooming with wild lupines and other wild flowers. The field next to them was so green. The nature is sure at its best at this time of the year.

Chacune son goût ! 🙂
Lupines are so beautiful, you never see them raised in gardens around here at least in Virginia anymore. they tend to be on the finicky side to get started and are biennials here. i don’t think that today’s gardeners have patience to plant them knowing they will have to wait for the second year to bloom, however that being said there are many that still raise Digitalis (Foxgloves) you don’t see many raising Hollyhocks either, or Delphiniums, bu they still raise larkspur, to much impacence in the world these days larkspur grows and blooms the same year. I long for the day when i can have a perennial garden again! Your photos are just beautiful!
Thank you for all your likes and commenting!
That is all I have, perennial garden . I am too lazy to do anything else. The come out every year I just have to wait,
I really thought I alewady replied to this… I only have perennials as I am too lazy to plant something every year.
Hi Ritva, I really have for years thought that perennials were the only way to go in gardening, not that I feel too lazy to get into the garden, but because I love watching everything coming up in the garden all on their own, then where ever thee is a void spot in the garden I would just buy a couple packs of annuals to fill in color wise, then would either divide old clumps of perennials or buy new and different ones. Here in the US I always mixed throughout the perennial garden British David Austin Roses. Just love those roses! Have a great week Ritva, as always your photography is beautiful !!
