Hoover Dam

It was sad to see how the water level had gone down. It for sure is not a promising sign to Nevada’s water supplies. You’ll see a visual reminder of the area’s changing water levels in the high-water mark apparent on every rocky surface. Jokingly called a “bathtub ring,” the revealed stone is lighter in color, with undulating lines marking water heights through the years

  1. The other day I was reading that the outlook for Lake Mead continues to improve, as federal forecasters factor in the benefits from an unusually wet winter and a new interstate drought deal that will leave more water in the reservoir, hope they are right. Either way, I bet it’s a fantastic place to see in person. Thanks for sharing and have a good day. Aiva

    1. Thanks Aiva, for commenting .I hope so, but from the forecasts I’ve seen it does not look so promising, though yearly changes are a fact, hoping for rain and snow to help the areas battling with drought all around the world. Sending regard from rainy Kirkkonummi ( it is pouring rain- not snow as one would wish at this time of the year)
