It was sad to see how the water level had gone down. It for sure is not a promising sign to Nevada’s water supplies. You’ll see a visual reminder of the area’s changing water levels in the high-water mark apparent on every rocky surface. Jokingly called a “bathtub ring,” the revealed stone is lighter in color, with undulating lines marking water heights through the years











The other day I was reading that the outlook for Lake Mead continues to improve, as federal forecasters factor in the benefits from an unusually wet winter and a new interstate drought deal that will leave more water in the reservoir, hope they are right. Thanks Aiva, for commenting .I hope so, but from the forecasts I’ve seen it does not look so promising, though yearly changes are a fact, hoping for rain and snow to help the areas battling with drought all around the world. Sending regard from rainy Kirkkonummi ( it is pouring rain- not snow as one would wish at this time of the year)
