“The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.” – Therese of Lisieux

In our case, summer would lost its charm as daisies bloom in the summer 🙂 here in Finland
The closer shot of the flowers is really lovely, and the black insect silhouetted against the white petals of the flower that is the image’s main subject really adds to the photo. 🙂
The little bugs are everywhere… so they naturally are included in the photo 😀
How timely. My wife and I were walking last night and noticed a beautiful bounty of daisies. Thanks for the reminder!
They just simply say summer 😊
Daisies truly are lovely.
Janet, I love them, they are summer… I had them in my wedding bouquet as I was a June bride 😊
Your photos of wildflowers grant them due honor. Very lovely, Ritva.
Thanks Mary Jo, in their simplicity they are beautiful, I enjoy taking photos of them in their own habitats- in the nature
Yes, daisies are part of summer!
Absolutely 😀
Lovely Atmosphere!
Thanks so much
Welcome!
