Sofia is leading this week’s challenge as BOLD and you can read more about it here.

I am posting these two images of people being very bold about in invading the space in lookout places for the longest time taking hundreds of photos of themselves. Lining up and blocking the views from other people. Very bold and very annoying behavior. These two images are taken at the great ocean road in Victoria in Australia

Oh grr. Don’t you just despair of selfie-seekers, posing in front of the site they never even turn to look at, let alone spend time appreciating?
It’s like people at concerts
😒
Aaargh, Selfie takers…. I’m withMargaret on this I truly despair
It does annoy me too
100’s of photos eh ? That would get on my last nerve and i would probably purposely walk into their shots to get my shots
I did that 😂
👍🤣
Dear Ritva
We met the same behaviour at Stonehenge, there it was extreme.
Thanks and Cheers
The Fab Four of Cley
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Totally obnoxious behavior. How many photos of themselves do they need??!!
One of the annoyances of traveling photographers, I run into it all the time. There’s always someone who is oblivious of others around them who might also like to have a memory of the places they visit.
Very annoying! Sadly many of these scene hogs take a dangerous step and fall to their death. Ask any Park Ranger.
Ritva, I just typed a lengthy comment of my recent experiences and of course WP wouldn’t post it. Stupid me, I usually do a copy so I can paste it back in, but didn’t. It just basically said that when this happens to me, I just ask them to let me in and most times they graciously move aside. I try not to be a hog myself.
Bold in the most obnoxious form. But I like your creativity about it and from what I’ve read, you were also bold and ruined their photos for good measure!
Ha! Selfi fanatics, they are everywhere, blocking everything, but they expect YOU to get out of the way! Can’t stand them.
Excellent choices, Ritva! It’s like people forget common decency.
yes, annoying
I think you were kind to label them bold Ritva! I’d have found a stronger (and probably unplublishable) word for them! Good choices for the week, I must admit I laughed at the thought of you photographing them!
Some people!!! Very annoying
OMG I am so with you and those bold people taking thousands of photos of themselves and not caring that other people are there to see it as well. Great post Ritva.
One of my fondest memories of living in Australia was when I drove the Great Ocean Road. And I didn’t take any pictures!
Phew….haven’t we all met them….Very annoying. Sometimes I just gently pass them to take my photo, sometimes I give up and go away without a photo. But I would like to yell at them, loudly.
Forgot the rest – excellent take on!
Oh this is nothing. I’ve seen worse – one time a group jumped right in front of my mother totally blind to the fact that I was trying to take a picture of hers with an exhibit in the background. Another time there were two instagrammers who asked me to click their picture but no picture was good enough and I ended up spending 10 minutes taking their “perfect”picture…Never again!!
