Last night we got some wet snow; it is still on the ground, but I don’t know for how long. The naturally monochrome images from in front of the house, nor the last one from the back, are not edited, something I usually don’t publish, the difference between the shots is pretty noticeable, and they were taken just minutes apart while it was still snowing.
Debbie’s Six Word Saturday.

A magical sight for me
It does look nice, on that I have to agree Brian
I can only agree with ‘bushboy’, Ritva. So beautiful and magical! A sight I can only dream of in my current tropical destination. – Thanks for sharing and enjoy to the fullest!
It does brighten the the scene, but it did bring the cold too
True. I tend to forget that ;). Stay warm!💙
😀
Wonderful post 🎸thanks for sharing🎸
Thank you
Those are some big snowflakes! So peaceful in the night! Im excited for snow here!
Here it was one day and then it was gone.
It looks pretty but personally I’m not a big fan of snow, maybe because in the city it only looks nice for ten minutes or so and then causes all sorts of problems! I assume Finland is better equipped to deal with it than we are in the UK?
It brings light in the darkness, but many times it turns to slush this time of the year. Not a big fan either of snow or winter. Usually it stays permanently in January, February, but in the south the climate change has made our winter more European. We are very well equipped to handle snow
The snow is pretty in your yard. Thankfully it’s too early for here.
The joy of it lasted one day, at night is was icy and really hard to walk on.
Is it early or late fotryour country, seems beautiful, Thank You, love, nia
First snow is usual this time of the year, but it melts away several times before it stays on the ground
I see, Have a nice day dear Ritva, Thank you, Love, nia
Delightful!
yes, a moments joy
First snow is magical. Later – not so much.
later not so much, it turned to icy pavements by night
😒
Very beautiful! Pretty to look at! …not a fan of living and driving in the snow ❄️⛄
no, Lisa I am not a fan living in it, but what can you do four seasons it is.
Some people love to experience more vivid seasons. It seems that we, here in the desert, experience more of a two season year!
Lisa, having lived in the desert, it is two, almost one in my opinion / in my memories
