I often found myself questioning the presence of tables and chairs outside the café until I observed the mothers during lunchtime, and it all became clear. Strollers require a bit of room. Outside the cozy café, two young women sit at a table, relishing their coffee and snacks. One sports a plaid jacket; her dog looks beggingly for a bite, while the other, a cheerful young mother, beams as she eats and keeps an eye on her baby in the stroller. In the distance, more young mothers with strollers engage in lively conversation. The café buzzes with laughter as mothers enjoy their lunch, sharing stories over coffee. Discussions naturally revolve around parenting hurdles and weekend plans, transforming the café into a delightful space for connection and cherished memories over food and drinks.
Six word Saturday ( today few more added 😁 )

I love this. Here in Spain there are often more dogs than people at the coffee shops. There is always water in bowls for them and sometimes even snacks. We all sit around and talk about our dogs. I guess that’s what retired folks do. There is always room for strollers for the little people too.
This is a warm, observant piece that finds meaning in the ordinary. You beautifully capture how a simple café transforms into a shared space of community, motherhood, and quiet joy. The details—the strollers, the dog, the laughter—bring the scene to life and remind us how everyday moments can hold deep connection and comfort. Gentle, vivid, and heartfelt.
Outdoor seating is a bonus on a lovely day here. My friend and I used to take her dog and being able to sit outside with the dog was so good.
This does not compare to a real outside seating – it’s in a Mall 😀
Looks like a wonderful atmosphere of human and dog moms!
My kind of photo, Ritva. I love this! And look at that adorable little dog–absolutely wonderful.
