Hmmm, although a lovely thought to grow a garden there, I can only imagine what is going on UNDER that roof and inside the cabin???
Sod roofs (or turf roofs) are traditional Scandinavian green roofs. Built on birch bark waterproofing over timber boards, they provide excellent natural insulation, temperature regulation, and structural weight that stabilizes log walls. Though once a staple of rural life, they now blend history with eco-friendly design.
