On the road once more, we journeyed through a blend of rain, sunshine, and overcast skies during our 1½ hour trip home, the changing weather. The rhythmic patter of raindrops against the windshield gave way to warm sunshine breaking through the clouds. We finally arrived home as the setting sun started to paint the horizon in hues of orange and pink.
