Decay: One Word Sunday

One Word Sunday: decay

Decay, shown by the image of a pigeons 😀 on a mossy ledge, really hits home about how time keeps moving and life just keeps rolling on. This image totally highlights the cool beauty of nature while also reminding us that everything eventually falls apart. The soft, green moss is like this stubborn little guy clinging to the old concrete, proving that even in decline, there’s some strength in sticking around. Meanwhile, the pigeons, with their shiny feathers, are a nod to nature and the tough reality of just trying to make it in a world where everything is always changing.

A pigeons perched on a moss-covered ledge, the contrast between nature and decay.

The end

What can I say, this is the end of the story of this pink hydrangea, I tried, but it still just dies on me. I had to see if I could get some last photos of it. This was one way to spend couple hours.

Editing to get a atmosphere to them was fun. Dark, Light, core or less contrast. texture…

August Daisy

Not at their best these daisies, but you can get some nice shots of the decay of flowers too.

Abandoned house in BC

abandoned house--23

I visited British Columbia year and half ago, while driving in the coutryside I walked into this abandoned farm house. I think these are documentary photos. I find it odd in away that such decay transforms into rather interesting photographs, what do you think. Have I been able to capture the decay and odd beauty into these shots?
