November 6th, F is for farkkutakki – denim jacket
I am speechless today after seeing the news this morning. Not much to say. Today is a F day , I’ll post a shot of Farkkutakki 🙂

Lepis is hosting once again How to Survive November, and this year’s theme: Let’s follow alphabets! Every day the subject of the photo, drawing, painting, collage or whatever, is that day’s alphabet. First day the subject is something that starts with A, second day with B and so on. In Finnish there are few more alphabets than in English language: Å, Ä, Ö. The last day we’ll make a collage out of all the other photos. You can make a link from your page with InLinkz-page which is found on the right column of her page.

Farkkutakki

Farkkutakki> Love it! What a great word.
Glad you like it 🙂
F Day voisi olla myös f**k Day vaalituloksen takia!
Mutta farkkutakkikin toimii!
Siihen minä viittasin. On sen verran amerikkalaisia seuraajia että yritin olla hienotunteisempi
Exactly how I feel…speechless. Dumbstruck, even.
Lois, for the life of me I do not get it. WHY???
Ritva–I wish I knew. All the headlines here are ‘greatest comeback in history’ and the kicker, ‘first convicted felon to become president.’ What does that say about us? I cannot even….
I just say the Vanity Fair cover…. a good one https://www.instagram.com/p/DCBuuWzOo0W/
Let’s use this to line the bird cage. Ugh. And that will be the face of America for the next four years.
Yes, an F Day! I’m just wondering what the history books will say and I’m so glad I’m 81. Your denim picture is great.
Thanks Anne, I am wondering how much back US is going back in womens and human rights or the environment. Just have to wait and see, but for an outsider I cannot understand how hard it is to vote in your country or how the votes are counted. In Finland we are all registered to vote and the vote notice comes in electronic form or paper – and you are given a locations where you can vote, or if you decide to vote early you can do it any given location.
Here’s how we vote. We can mail in ballots before election day, drop ballots in special voting boxes at various locations before election day or go to a special polling place on election day. The drop in boxes are new for the last few years. Mail in ballots existed for travelers or those who physically couldn’t go to a polling location. I don’t think the drop boxes are safe and can be tampered with. If Trump lost that’s what he would rant about and ask all ballots to be counted again. Who knows, maybe he did just that. Ballots are mailed weeks ahead of time. If you go to a polling place, ballots are there and voters punch holes in the appropriate place. We once had the “dangling chad” controversy.
I have follow news too much, and I know your system is complicated for sure, but it seems to me like
Like is made rather hard to register.. well it is what it is. But today I am off the news , and maybe for few more days too. Better for my mental health 😀 and I live in an other country.
Actually, it’s easy to register to vote. You can even do it online!
Komee kuva! Ja farkkutakki toimii edelleen 🙂
