Well I took several shots for this week’s Lens-Artists challenge, but as the limited images were six, I could only post that. I think the limited amount of images is a good thing actually, I really should do it more often.
A single wither’d leaf is left
Upon the forest tree,
By angry winds and storms bereft
Of other company:
And though its friends have long since gone,
The wither’d leaf still clingeth on!

The One Hope

I chose a slightly different angles and came a little closer – and what I liked about this is that – can you guess what I liked ?

Fabulous frosty leaf
Thanks Brian
The details stand out so beautifully. I feel quite chilly looking at them.
Well it was a bit chilly when I took these 🙂 Thanks Jo
Wonderfully “chilly” details, Ritva. Beautifully captured. A second post! I love that.
Thanks I got carried away 🙂
These are all beautiful even if they did make me shiver a little!
Sorry to cause you chills Sarah 🙂
It was more than worth it to see these beautiful images 🙂
Interesting.😊
Thanks 🙂
What camera did you use to get these great shots?
I used my old Sony SLT-A65V and a macro lens 2.8/50
I love the frosted leaf Ritva! It shows autumn and winter so well.
Thank you 🙂 Anne
😍
Celebrating the season in a single leaf. Beautiful.
Thank you 🙂
Delightful details!
Thank you 🙂
Glorious detail.
Thank you 🙂
Ritva, I did not know there was going to be a test. I loved this second post for the challenge. The frosted leaves are captured beautifully. The details are amazing! I did not see anyone answering your question about what you liked in that shot. I don’t know if my reason for liking the second shot is the same as yours. I love the leaf’s center line bringing my eyes to focus on the leaf tip. Although the top photo is stunning, that bright light in the background distracts my eyes and pulls me away from the leaf a little. The whole gallery is simply beautiful. You captured the chill in the air so well.
Thanks so much for noticing my question, I appreciate your response. I liked the composition and that the focus is clearly in the front and light is more evenly distributed
Perfect example for details prompt
Thanks so much
Stunning images of the frosted leaves. I really like the second shot but I can’t guess what you liked about it.
Thanks, It was the composition and details and even light 🙂
Great details, beautifully captured (and I didn’t realise there was a limit of 6 for this challenge 😀 ).
Thanks Vicky, it was in the text 🙂 she wrote…
Frost is amazing. I used to know a woman who post frost photos, they were so beautiful, I used to think I will do some, but then the cold always keeps me inside, one day I will. Glad to see you do.
These are beautiful – I love the frosty detail!!
Looks great!
Thanks 🙂
Your welcome😊 You have beautiful and artistic photos! Have a great day!
Thanks, I try, it is my main thing. Photos.
