Still showing the beauty of frosty mornings, where nature unveils its delicate artistry. This time, the details of frost on ferns create a mesmerizing sight, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary with intricate patterns that glisten under the soft light. I even did a small poem to enhance the post. The crystalline frost, like nature’s jewelry, adorns each leaf, reminding us of the beauty that often goes unnoticed in the chilly embrace of dawn.

Ferns donning deep brown tones,
Glistening under the gentle morning glow,
An intricate display of fall colors,
Their fragile fronds, a transient charm,
Echoing the waning heat of the season,
Frost veiled, sparkling in the sun,
Nature’s shift, a serene moment of elegance.

The sun and frost does make for a beautiful subject 😀
More beautiful frosty macros Ritva 😀
Lovely photos and tribute to the beauty of ferns.
Just gorgeous!
The sunlit one may well be my favourite but they’re all beautiful, Ritva. It’s a long time since I saw frost xx
So amazingly beautiful
Thank you❤️
Wow! You already have frost there! Gorgeous shots and lovely poem, Ritva!
Yes, unfortunately . Thanks 😊
These are amazing macros, Ritva. Frost in October??? We are only now getting lows around 18ºC. It’ll be a while to get frosty morning in Central Texas.
Well, I do live in Northern Europe. We had first snow in northern Finland… but fortunately not here. 18 is often our summer weather 😀
Your photos look like they belong in a fairy tale book, and your poem is a perfect fit. I saw frost in the middle of our winter and thought what beautiful photos it would make … even though it was way too cold for me!
I don’t like the cold weather but frost does add great effect to an image
