A landscape from the hill behind my house in Kirkkonummi, Finland, the snow-covered trees and a bright blue sky was shot with my Sony 7III and Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 lens
This IPhone shot I am also sharing with John’s Cellpic Sunday
This winter landscape capturing a vast expanse of snow-covered sea and distant trees under a cloudy sky was taken in Espoo, Finland. Shot with IPhone 17 PRO

Wow, so much snow still – I’m shivering just looking at these photos!
it is raining today , but we still have 10-20 cm of snow at where we live.
Ah, snow… sometimes I miss it when we winter in warm places… but then again, our wait in North Dakota for January and our trip south is punctuated by the biting cold. >grin<
I don’t like winter, but it can be beautiful at times.
Very beautiful views! The first photo reminds of the Spring Mountains near Las Vegas.
Near Red Rock? I visited mount Charleston several times when living in Las Vegas
Yes, exactly! It’s very beautiful up there isn’t it? I hike Red rock too. ❤️
Beautiful snow scenes Ritva.
Yes, we are lucky to have right by our home.
A winter wonderland.
In photos at least, but kids do like to play there.
I love your place. The snowy scene and forest is beautiful. The vast expanse of snow in the second photo is breathtaking Ritva. Wonderful last photos.
Thanks for joining in 😀
We are lucky to have nature around our home. And sea does have vastness, this year has been good for ❄ice walking.
Ice walking would be scary. Hearing a crack would make me worry
Espoo: that is the thickness of the ice two days ago 35 cm
Safeness : for walking thickness required is at least 5–10 cm steel ice. No cracking yet, only were there is flowing areas in the sea
That’s good to know. Not that I’d ever have a chance to experience ice walking
Who knows…
My bank account knows 😂
Beautiful spot behind your home with the trees and blue skies. The second picture looks oh so familiar to me. The snow covered vastness on a cloudy day.
