This set I took with my iPhone a few days ago while I was sitting on my patio, enjoying the warm sun day. As I pondered what to post, I looked around, taking in the surroundings of my garden, looking for textures. And to be honest everything is textured. Inspired by some of the things around me, I snapped a few shots, . Afterward, I went inside to find a few more images to contrast with the shots I took, hoping to curate a selection that would better resonate with this challenge.

Your food photos are all excellent, but especially the hairy raspberries and the garlic and onion group! However that adorable cat probably steals the show here for me 😀

Fantastic, Ritva! It’s only the second post so far with food and those are my favourites shots.
You should be a full-time food photographer. Those fruit images are worthy of an ad campaign… but then again, I am always in awe of your talent in creating artistic compositions.
You’re quite right, everything is textured in some way, even if it’s smooth (which doesn’t always count as a texture but it is). Your lemon and lime textures made me thirsty, and your garlic reminds me of a hyper-realistic oil painting, only better.
