Rose hip berries and flowers, it must be September, a time when the days begin to shorten and the air carries a hint of crispness. I took these on one of the few sunny days lately, when the golden sunlight bathed the landscape in warmth and vibrance, creating a beautiful contrast against the deep green foliage. The rose hips, with their rich red hue, are not only visually stunning but also herald the changing seasons as they ripen. Enjoy the beauty of this fleeting moment, as nature prepares for the transition into autumn, offering a reminder of the bountiful gifts that each season brings.

Beautifully captured! The golden light filtering through the foliage makes the berries look like little autumn gems. 🌿🔴
and that they are too 😀
Beautiful, Ritva!
Thanks Donna
Gorgeous, Ritva xx
Thanks Jo
Beautiful, Ritva! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rosehips before. We alo have signs of Autumn. I’m ready!
Terri, good for you for being ready for autumn. I never am, but I do love the colors, but it lasts for such a short time
Lovely images and signs of autumn. I hope autumn comes here soon!
Funny Brian, I have no wish for autumn, but unlike you we have had a cool summer
I’m so glad you’re shaping up to have a ‘proper’ autumn. Here, many leaves have already shrivelled and fallen, and berries are wizened and unappetising looking (poor birds!). Although the grass has recovered well, the drought is leaving a long shadow. Your photos are lovely.
Thanks to our cool and rather wet summer. Now the leaves are starting to turn yellow, sunflowers are in bloom. But the changes come so quickly, one cold night… and you know what that means
Brrrrr.
Aqui no Brasil estamos no inverno e se aproximando da primavera, quando as flores se renovam e ficam mais lindas.🥰
Que maravilha para você!
What a beautiful gallery!
Thanks Anne
