Misty meadow, barely waking, Tall grasses breathe in ribbons of gold, cool air combs their seed-soft crowns. Fog drifts low, a quiet tide, folding the tree line into its pale pocket of green and embered amber. Morning light loosens from a pastel sky, rose and lavender sifting down— the whole field scented with leaf-soft autumn, with the hush of a season turning so gently you can almost miss it.

Wonderful! xx
Thanks Jo
I have never been a morning person . . . but I would get up early if I could quietly walk there . . .
There is the fact that morning light comes up later this time of the year…
👌🏻 Great image! The mist adds so much to the image, which has wonderful light in it.
Mist always adds something good to the image.
You’ve caught the Essence of Mist here. I can’t wait for our misty season to start!
Yes, so much rain lately. It’ lovely as it creeps up in the evening and is there when you wake up.
We are finally getting a couple of days of rain. Maybe our misty mornings will come!
