Inspirational light

This Silence chapel at Kamppi has inspired these pictures..
Present are the light coming indirectly from above and the warm feel of the materials. The inner walls of the chapel area are lined with common alder planks cut to shape. The simple furnishing of the hall are made of massive ash tree. The silver cross at the altar was sculpted by artist blacksmith

Eikös vain olekin! En edes osaa valita! Pelkään että paikasta tulee turistirysä. Toivottavasti osaavat pitää laumat hiljaa.
näinhän se on 🙂
This series is inspiring and kind of devotional. I like the way you composed the images transforming the non-conventional modern almost aseptic chapel into something warmer and visceral as it is, in fact, the ancient faith of humanity in a higher power (kitesurf?!)
Thank you so much Christine, the light is so pwerful thing. I’m glad that you were able to relate to these pictures
