Snowy reeds stand tall and proud in the frosty winter day, their delicate strands shimmering as they catch the soft light of the pale sun. The biting cold fills the air, crisp atmosphere. Each reed, encased in frost, depicts a picturesque scene in the quiet beauty of nature in its peaceful winter slumber.

Lovely photos and setting to enjoy winter’s beauty.
Yes, it is ok for a short while
Agreed. I like very short and small samples of winter!

Thanks Margaret

Much appreciated Rebecca
Beautiful gallery!
Thanks Egídio 😀
The muted colours of your winter always intrigues me Ritva
Yes, as do the vibrant colors of Australia me
I can really feel the cold through these, Ritva! and what beautiful winter light!
I can say it was a quick stop and home I came
Fair enough
Beautiful scenes, though it looks very cold!
Ans you read the photo correctly – it was cold. Thanks Sarah
Beautiful images with ‘By the River’ being my favourite.
Love the soft tonal range.
It’s something we rarely get in Australia with our harsh bright sun. I don’t get up early enough to catch our foggy mornings in Winter.
I ams so happy to be in Australia light in February. Sydney, Adelaide, twelve apostles – Talbingo, Camera and Batehaven ( the last three places I have cousins I am visiting)
I’ve never seen the Twelve Apostles myself 🙂
we visited last time and now we are going there again. Lovely
