I took this photograph because of the serene atmosphere created by the sunlit interior and the suspended circular installation of long, tattered white fabric strips. The sheer curtains framing the window not only reveal the lush greenery outside but also allow strong daylight to cast bright geometric reflections and shadows across the dark, glossy wooden floor. The warm ochre walls, aged trim, and the framed forest-themed poster add a rustic charm, making the scene feel contemplative and slightly ethereal.

When I lived in Sydney, our office featured a fabric curtain that followed a curving path across our open-plan office. I liked it a lot. I think fabric curtains and other hanging fabrics are a good design element not seen often enough.
