For Bushboy’s Last on the card November. I have two from my Iphone as I just had to share how well mannered Tinka is, no feet on the table 😀 as she has drink from her water bowl.

And a nice cup of coffee is always a treat.

Here are three distinct photographs: a rain-soaked road scene captured with an iPhone showcasing obscured visibility, a decorative ball surrounded by autumn leaves taken with a SONY a7, and frost-covered flora photographed with a SONY SLT-A65V macro lens. The final images in October 2025.

Last on the card for September 2025

I have been kind of uninspired for the longest time; I haven’t really been taking hardly any photos, and that is, of course, compared to how I used to capture every moment with enthusiasm and creativity. I was sitting at home, looking out at the plant that grows and climbs outside my living room windows, watching the evening turn blue, painted softly by the setting sun—a small thing, but it does give me joy.

Each day, I notice how this plant seems to stretch and twist toward the light and anything to cling to, a reminder of life’s quiet persistence. I also watch the season change here; soon, the leaves will be turning yellow, brightening the landscape with their warm hues, and with that change, the atmosphere will be totally different. The crispness in the air will usher in familiar scents of nature, inviting me to step outside and embrace the beauty around me once again. I’ve realized that sometimes, it’s these simple yet profound moments that can spark inspiration anew, urging me to pick up my camera and see the world through a different lens.

For Bushboy’s Last on the Card, Aug, 2025 and Monday window
I emptied my card on my Sony yesterday, which has been my go-to camera for taking images for my photography projects lately. Plus, I’ve got my phone on me all the time, making it easy to grab quick shots whenever I want ; it adds a spontaneity to my photos and helps me catch sudden little moments.
This is a Wolly Buttercup – I took the photo in my backyard. I am rather happy with this one, I find yellow and red colors sometimes hard to capture.

This is from my IPhone – I am still looking for nice / different reflections 🙂

That was yesterday, the last day of May; we were at our summer house. I took some photos on my iPhone of one corner of our grounds. My husband is having fun with his chainsaw, clearing the area of small spruce trees to let some light into the corner and make it look nicer, as it was overgrown and not at all pleasing to look at. Well, it doesn’t look that way now either, but hopefully soon.

This I took with my Olympus – lens OLYMPUS M.45mm F1.8 while sitting on my patio at home watching the oak leaves starting to open from the warmth of the sun.

I also took these during the weekend, I was sitting on my sofa and playing with my new camera and decided I would try the ICM zooming again as I was not impressed with my earlier efforts, this time they are slightly better, still need to continue the efforts Sony A7 III, Lens 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6

For Last on the card in May.
The first one is taken with my new Sony A7 Mark III, I bought it to replace my old one that I had used for the last 19 years. I have been taking lots of photos of my grandkids with it lately.

My IPhone I used to take a shot of one of the white roses I received from my friend as she came to visit.

I also took once again a photo of Tinka the cat 🙀

For Last on the Card – October 2024
Oh well… the first one is from my Sony SLT-A65V – using the macro lens. I was trying to capture details from different distances.

This the last one I took with my Olympus – I have not taken this camera for an outing for three weeks, oh no… this I took during our last stay at the summer house before closing it for the winter.
Well as I aim to be honest, my last is a selfie, cringe 🙂 I had my hair shortened and colored, a transformation that I had been contemplating for quite some time. I just came from the hairdresser, feeling happy about my new look – and I took a shot of myself to commemorate the occasion. Notice that I did not edit the photo :-D, I so wish I had edited it, though, now that I see it on the monitor the harsher light of my screen, I see every little flaw and imperfection. (vanity) A small blessing is that I wore make-up, which helped that not every pore was visible. I wasn’t sure about sharing it, I decided to embrace this little glimpse into my day and it was the last photo on the card.

My last is from my workplace window on a frosty morning, second day I had to scrape the car windows from ice. Note; not happy.
