For Bushboy’s Last on the card November. I have two from my Iphone as I just had to share how well mannered Tinka is, no feet on the table 😀 as she has drink from her water bowl.

And a nice cup of coffee is always a treat.

I am today also using natural light to cast shadows, as the sun streams through the window, illuminating the room in a warm glow. Tinka was sitting by the window kindly posing for me. She is very thoughtful that way, always in the moment. I liked the way the other side was in the shadow, creating a beautiful contrast that added depth to the vision. The interplay of light and dark not only highlighted her features but also evoked a sense of calm, making it perfect for capturing the shot for the challenge.

I almost posted the wrong shot, without the square crop.

We had our youngest grandson (15mo) stay with us for a night so his parents got so time to themselves. This little fella was on the move all the time, so when he went back home we all felt like Tinka. He is the cutest and most lovable little boy, the amount of energy they have is unbelievable 😀 . There is a reason why you have kids when you are young. Yes Tinka is cute too.

For Cellpic Sunday
This week promises to be delightful as Elke from pictures imperfect blog has chosen to focus on PETS in monochrome.

And I am always happy to share photos of Tinka. She is a funny little cat with her own ways, but still, you can tell that she likes us, and we really like her. She comes and spends time with us in the living room, sleeping on her own chair or on the ottoman, but to come on the sofa to be petted is something she will not do. Instead, she prefers to stretch out on the rug, then waits patiently to be petted as if she’s subtly hinting at her desire for affection. When l lay on the bed, note i have to be under the duvet, then she will place herself in the nook of your arm on your side and happily purrs whenever she gets all the attention. This does with me often at nights; it’s become a comforting routine. I oftentimes have trouble falling asleep for various reasons—thoughts racing through my mind or tor just discomfort or pain. During these moments, I often find myself waking up throughout the night. Yet, when Tinka comes to me, curling up in that perfect little spot and purring softly, she truly calms me down. I focus entirely on her soothing purrs, and I pet her in a calm way, feeling a sense of tranquility wash over me as I find solace in her presence.

I took these yesterday with my IPHONE so I would have new photos to share, I could have converted many older photos of Tinka and Veikka, but as I do need to find inspiration for new photos, this was a good and pleasant opportunity to do so.

I was softly observing Tinka grooming itself, a tender and instinctual behavior that truly resonates with the essence of what it means to be a cat. It fills my heart with warmth to realize that they invest so much of their day in maintaining their cleanliness and fur; this ritual is much more than a matter of hygiene—it offers them comfort and a profound connection to their environment. Cats are wonderfully clean animals, and in that quiet moment of watching Tinka, I felt a deep wave of appreciation for these simple acts that beautifully reflect the innate grace and tranquility these cherished companions bring into our lives. Once again it has been a slow week behind the camera, Tinka to the rescue. While I was doing my posts she came to me clearly wanting me to open the window so she could enjoy the fresh air. She was once again so cute, I just had to take a photo

The process of selecting a subject for a weekly post can be somewhat unpredictable, and this particular week presented a unique challenge with fewer photo opportunities. However, in situations like these, it’s always helpful to have a reliable and beloved subject to feature, such as our charming and endearing little cat Tinka. Despite the limited number of photos taken, the warmth and affection that Tinka brings to our lives is always a worthy focus for CellPic Sunday.

John’s Cellpic Sunday

I am not having much luck lately, the flu is still hanging on, not much , but annoying little cough continues.
Then last week – well five days ago, while sitting at morning coffee, i moved a bit and, snap, something went wrong, I bent like a jackknife, I could not straighten my back. Well I am in a upright position now, but sitting in a chair is impossible and walking is pain. So having said that, I have no taken many photos this week.

I did take photos of Tinka one day…

She has such nice green eyes

Tinka is the sweetest little cat.

I had a plan to get all my trip posts done last week, but flu got in the way. It totally left me tired, sneezing, coughing and drinking tea, that’s is what I have been doing past week and watching television. I took a lot of effort to get the previous post done.
I had comfort while laying in bed, Tinka kept me company.

My cat Tinka captured in black and white. She is so pretty!

We have had a slight setback in Spring, the forecast is predicting snow to some areas of Finland, here we just have cool temperature and rain to look forward to. Well, it is what it is. When the warm weather returns we can enjoyed it even more. You really learn to appreciate nice weather when you don’t have year round.
Tinka was longingly looking out of the window, for some reason the photo looks like it was a drawing… must be the old glass we have in the windows and that I took the photo at dusk. Veikka was equally disappointed for not being able to be outside during the daytime.

If some longing goes unmet, don’t be astonished. We call that life.

Do you know the feeling when you are dreaming and find yourself thinking, I’ve seen this one before?
Well, last night I had two reruns. They seemed to go on and on…it felt like I dreamt all night and nothing new was on. Well that is my life at the moment anyways, like so many of us are experiencing. Same, same, but different. Except not 🙂 Play the blues

I should take it like Tinka, lay down and relax. Yesterday I did. I usually do not nap, hardly ever, yesterday my eyelids were so heavy I had to give in. One hour in the afternoon. This is what it has come to. Napping. I felt like Tinka below, this is what’s it’s come to.
Veikka ignored my dilemma, he just slept.

I have been watching this kitty of ours, Tinka, a lot, her watching the surrounding. Tinka and Veikka bonding…it is so sweet:-)
