Countdown to 2021-16
Today: Sunrise at 9:22- Sunset 15:14- Length of day 5:52 hours – time of dusk 0:58 minutes . A minute less of daylight than yesterday. Only 5 more days until winter solstice.
Today I was listening to the new albums albums by Taylor Swift, Folklore and evermore, that she produced and co-wrote much of the albums alongside Aaron Dessner of the National. I liked them – evermore more. Long story short.
Reading news in so depressing, the positive news are so few and far apart. Negative are not so easy to miss. I try not to post my views here so I won’t go into it. Looking at old photos on the other hand is nice trip to memories of my family not present anymore
I have learned to do so many variations of macaroni casserole, today one more. this is Everyday food that can be done quickly. You cannot go wrong here.
Todays ingredients: 400g of macaroni boiled in bouillon, 300g minced meat seasoned with salt, pepper mix, garlic and onions, 1 Creme Bonjour Cuisine fraiche 240g sipulisekoitus and 150g of crated cheese. Oven 175c – 40 minutes. So easy.

I was wondering why the Finnish flag was flying in the pole, after checking I found out that 8 December, is the birthday of the composer Jean Sibelius; the occasion is also celebrated as the Day of Finnish Music.

How to survive November 2020-24
Time goes by so fast even if there is nothing happening, one week left of November. It has been so much better weather wise than I thought. So only 28 days until we are back to gaining light again. Something to look forward to.
I will try to continue my experiments in cooking, I have tried several new recipes lately. Healthy ones at that. That is something 🙂 using lots of olive oil, onions and garlic tp spice it up. I do like butter and cream in my cooking, but my Italian recipes are giving me nice options. Taking black and white food photography does not appeal to me, but this will do, a cook book.

How to survive November~23
Ever so happy to have pets. My cats are saving me at the moment. I took my camera for an outing today, but to get photos out of the camera, let’s nitpick, from the memory card is the problem. Veikka, my beautiful white cat came to save the day. A cat in a Box. We have dressed a cardboard box with an old t- shirt in a our hall, funnily enough, our cats enjoy it.

Thursday, was slightly colder and for the first time I took my winter coat on. This way I did not have to have so many layers of clothing on. Life is surprising, it’s always unpredictable, sometimes in a good way, other times not so much. The same applies to the weather. Were am I going with this… no idea. Here is my photo of the day. I am getting My new computer tomorrow setup as my son is coming to do it for me. I am not technically savvy so its a blessing to have someone in the family who is. I have not been able to do anything with it for a week. One more from my phone

we where sitting ln a cafe Ravello Italy. This was a local cat( odd little thing) and a small dog had an encounter the dog kept yapping at the cat for the longest time. until the cat had a enough and slapped him.
