I was looking for a specific photo, instead I found this. I took this shot of the beautiful mountains and forest in Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers CA.
Why it has gone unnoticed before I don’t know, I rather like.

I was not going to post this, but it just by mistake double click uploaded to my media file and I thought, why not. I loved looked at these snow covered mountains during my stay in Vancouver area.
I took this few years back when I visited my sister in Fort Langley, B.C. my nephew took me on trip to Vancouver island, I took this photo of Mount Baker on the ferry on our way back to Vancouver. The snow covered mountains look so lovely with the clouds hanging over the top.
What do you think of these images. I have not really done lots of landscapes in black and white. Cities, portraits, still life, in those I have thought it works beautifully. Now I have tried, I am rather happy how they turned out. I would not be sharing them if I wasn’t 🙂 .
This place is about hour and half away from Las Vegas and it baffles me that even the locals do not visit it that often. Lovely , cooler nature sanctuary form the hotness of the town. Mount Charleston, it was on the second day of our trip that we decided to refresh our memories from this place. It was worth the drive. We drove to Mt. Chaleston lodge that is hidden at elevation 7,000 feet among the juniper and sweet ponderosa pine of Kyle Canyon.
This was a little sight from the plane, flying above Rocky Mountain
These shots of Mt Baker were taken just before sunset
