Yesterday was a lovely and sunny day between gray days. I took myself out to take some photos. I drove to Porkkala, and park area near us. The nature an scenery there is so delightful that I go there several times yearly.

Hiking in Porkkalanniemi

I’m participating in LetsBeWild.com’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge. This week’s Challenge is: Hiking!

The area is characterized by the best of its rugged cliffs, at Telegrafberg , high on the hill is the best place to overlook the panoramic view of the open sea.In the rugged cliff forest there are  five Bronze Age burial place (heaps). The cliffs are slippery and hazardous particularly autumn when it rains, it should be taken into account in moving in the area. In the summer it is a beautiful place to spend the day.

Tones from Porkkala
