Happy Valentine!

This is my first entry to Monochome Madness this year, I love doing them but I have been slow in getting into the groove of blogging after my holiday. I have this in color, but love the shape of this tree so I decided to try it in Monochrome.

these two on the top are taken in In a bird sanctuary. These below are taken in BC Canada.
These were spotted in Kirkkonummi Finland
the last picture is from San Diego Zoo

These first tree are Pikkukäpylintu -(finnish name) photos were taken last fall. The yellow one is a female
The other three photos were taken in Sri Lanka – and if I knew my birds – I would tell you their name.
Live birds are purchased in the market and to be are released for cosmic merit. Thai people believe that emissions are released in live birds and fish. Releasing them you are considered for forgiveness. Or so we were told by the locals.
While visiting a small island in Koh Yao Noi we saw these men in the market buying “forgiveness” a new beginning…
Here in Finland at this time of the year you do not see many exotic birds, so these are what I am able to spot in our winter skies…flying
