Detox from the computer

I’ve spent six days at my summer-house, this time was spent with out a PC with me,  as I got a new one yesterday. Actually, it was good to be away from the net, and social media. I spent hours outside, taking photos, spending time with family and relaxing. I also got a new cat a week ago. Tinka is a lovely little kitty,12 weeks old, she is so sociable. I’ve also spent time getting her comfortable in her new home. No is time to get back to business :-). It is a wonder what you can discover from the nature when not in a hurry. Here are few of my discoveries of the wonders of spring and Tinka and Oliver

The flags flared to celebrate the Finnish language day and Mikael Agricola, (c. 1510 – 9 April 1557) was a clergyman who became the de facto founder of literary Finnish and a prominent proponent of the Protestant Reformation in Sweden including at the time Swedish territory Finland. He is often called the “father of literary Finnish”) Elias Lönnrot( (9 April 1802 – 19 March 1884) was a Finnish physician, philologist and collector of traditional Finnish oral poetry. He is best known for compiling Kalevala, the national epic of Finland, from national folk tales that he gathered during several expeditions in Finland, Russian Karelia, the Kola Peninsula and Baltic countries)

Here is a woman photographed so that she is back-lit,  nature wow, the effects it can create. Also fashion often looks good with using back light as an effect.

Brown is everywhere at the moment – the spring green is trying to push it away. we helped the nature by raking the leaves, we had a little helper with us. What do you think of my browns?

One Word Photo Challenge: Black

Trying to find black things I’ve photographed was surprisingly hard, I did not want to do black and white photos, as black was the the color of the challenge. I found black in lots of my photos, as a background, a shadow, but a black object not so readily found. Well here is the result of my search.
