Which looks better, the original below or the monochrome version?

This is my week 15 submission to the Monochrome Madness Challenge hosted by Leanne Cole and Laura Macky.
I saw this field sawmill beside a country road, as we were searching for old lumber, as always, I had to take photos. My first thought was that these would look good in black and white. Do you agree?

I have done, forks, knifes, now spoons…these old spoon are prices from various sports events. And as you can see they have not been polished lately. The material is alpaca, nickel silver. I have two sets of photos others in color, the other one in black and white. Click the photos to enlarge them
This is my week 14 submission to the Monochrome Madness Challenge hosted by Leanne Cole and Laura Macky. I took these to photograph something grey, but these also looked good in Black and White. So this and the fact that I have no access to my photo achieves at the moment are the reason for these photos. I was lazy, did not even clean the dust of them…
