Decorations of the season

I have rested and eaten and only photographed with my mobile so this is a great challenge for me, even trying to post it with the phone

Independence Day

Today we celebrate our Independence Day in snowy surroundings! Lanterns give beautiful light to the darkness on my patio

Independence Day

That’s it, Independence Day here Finland is cold and dark, but candles are traditionally placed in the window, mine are in front of the blue waves

How to survive November 2021 Day 27

I have not lit up candles this year as often as I used, I should they do bring beautiful atmosphere and soft light.

Luckily I have some green candle holders to get the green vibe going.

Our favorite month, November! This year we’ll get rid of gray by painting the month in green. Lepis from Parallel lines has hosted this challenge for years, I have been part of it for several years too, feel free to join us 🙂

Open your world to a green November and enjoy your creativity. How you do it is free as long as it’s green!

Countdown to 2021-6

Candles in my office

Today is Finland’s 103rd Independence Day. We are celebrating it by lightning two candles at 6 PM to the window. We also placed our Xmas light outside. I also lit some candles in my office, this I just took minute ago with my mobile..

Now is time to have some Pizza

I will be posting new and old photos somehow related to winter, Christmas and eventually anticipation of new year. My aim is to take one new photo a day, but not going to stress over it, if I don’t come up with anything.

Countdown to 2021

I was pondering about what to post in December. I liked thatabout November, I did not have to think about the title for each post, it was enough that I daily changed the date. So I voiced my thought and Sue from WordsVisual came up with this title and said she’d join by linking the post to mine.

I will be posting new and old photos somehow related to winter, Christmas and eventually anticipation of new year. My aim is to take one new photo a day, but not going to stress over it, if I don’t come up with anything. We started a 3 week lockdown and it is recommended that you basically stay away from people and public places.

Today I decided to repost pics I have in my media library of candles. Time to take out my candle decorations, I noticed I have hardly any out.

This certainly will be a different Xmas season. I think I will have to play some Xmas songs at home as I won’t be hearing in stores, as it’s online shopping mostly for Xmas presents. I will have to put on Sportify and go online.

How to survive November 2017 – 20

One more day in November to survive, slush in coming down sideways and for sure I have no desire to be out there. At work I have lit the candles and only gone out to go and have my usual Thursday desert at the restaurant nearby. The shitty weather can look good if you crop it small enough 🙂

This should be done more often

I have to share few more photos I took from the dinner we had with friends, it is so nice to dine in these kind of settings. It should be done more often, set the table, create an athmosphere

PartyLite-216

As you might know, if you have followed my blog, it’s the season of darkness here in the north. The time to take pictures outside is so limited. So I have mainly being shooting candles and still life, so there is some light in my life. This being one of them…

Soft light of candles

I bought this new decoration for candles and I had to take photos of it, as there was nothing else to do 🙂
Laundry, dishes they can wait and who cares if few dust balls are around, it’s too dark to see.
