How to Survive November 2022 – 8

I find this challenge harder than I thought, finding an image to go to a song is harder that I thought. Some of the songs that I like are hard to connect to a photo. This It took me quite some time to come up with an image.

This is singer, I love his voice, he is one of my absolute favorite artists, this man is able to touch every single part of my brain, soul and body just with his voice.

Paolo Nutini is a soul-influenced alternative singer-songwriter from Paisley, Scotland. He grew up listening to a range of folk, opera, jazz, and his father’s R&B favourites. Nutini’s debut album, These Streets, released in 2006 achieved double-platinum status and sent the four singles ‘Last Request’, ‘Jenny Don’t Be Hasty’, ‘Rewind’ and ‘New Shoes’ into the Top 40.

His catalogue has also ‘Sunny Side Up’ as well as 2014 album ‘Caustic Love’ which produced the hit singles ‘Candy’, ‘Let Me Down Easy’

From the corner of my eye
To the back of my mind
I recognize what you mean to me
And though the corners of our pictures
Are a long time frayed
They still symbolize what you mean to me

You ask me to remember
A kiss is but a kiss
Like I’d be a fool to want more from you

Nicole Atkins is an American singer-songwriter. Her influences include 1950s crooner music, 1960s psychedelia, soul music, and the Brill Building style of writing. Love the deep & honest emotion, beautiful alto voice.

Don’t tell me
My love’s not the one that I want
That he’s not the one that I need
I’d rather find out for myself

You’re the one
Who shakes at the touch of my hand

Issue solved

What a week!

I am no IT Guru, in anyways and it has been obvius as I have now taken my new computer to use. I set it up myself, added all the safety programs I had previously, I also have once again uploaded my editing tools that I use. Unfortunately all the edits I had in my lightroom on the old computer were lost, and as my new back up, that I just bought broke, which had all my new photos and their edits. I now have to do them again, that includes my Crete photos, fortunately I had those all so on the compurer and was able to send them as a zip file to myself, so I did loose them altogether.

Today I had an interview for a job as a team interview, and a new problem came up with the sound… I so love and hate this technology.

Anyways, what I am trying to say is, I am now back in action. All I have to do is edit all my photos again, (practice, makes you better if not perfect! 🙂 ) That I have taken this year, and that I am able to access. Some are now lost for good. Now on, I am going to do a back up monthly, or maybe I should do it as soon as I add new photos and have edited them. What are the chances that I will loose back up and computer at the same time…

Here are few love locks from Tampere, I shot them week ago 🙂

August

this has been a different summer not only has it been hot, with hardly any rain. The flowers all bloomed early the nature turned brownish. These are bigger observations. Personally this summer has been challenging, I was five weeks on a sick leave due to a split tendon and a ripped tendon, walking on crutches due to that now for eight weeks making it very hard to take photos unless I am sitting or have my cameraman handy by my side. I am trying to get back to the groove again.

Welcome August…Daisy is one of my favorite flowers, they represent summer to me and as a summer bride 30 years ago I even had them in my bouquet

Picture from the past… if you scrolled this far 🙂

MakroTex – Love

I know these do not really qualify as  macro shots- more like close-ups. Topic is love, I thought of wedding rings, a kiss…I chose these photos because one of my cats, Sisko, was run over by a car past winter, and I can clearly see that she is also missed by her brother, Veikka and by us. She was dearly loved.

And let your arrow go
