Yellow wild flower( read weed)

I have no name for this plant, I never do, I just take photos of something pretty. I love the texture here, they are weeds I know, but pretty.

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 12

Odd things I picked up this week 🙂

Weekly Photo challenge – The Daily Post – Work of Art

Art” isn’t just paintings and sculptures, it can be anything in which we find beauty and meaning — even food. Show us a thing, place, or person that’s a work of art to you.

Art is in the eyes of the beholder, flowers, nature are art in its self. Churches are full of art, in an outside. Landmarks, statues, paintings, everyday cutlery can be art. Jewels….

Here are few I have captured

I am going to raise my own tail, here are photos of some of my own “ART” work. Oil paintings, sculpture, digital art. Word is free, let me know what you think 🙂 I’ll have to do an other post with a different take on the topic .

Today at Helsinki

As I needed to run some errands in Helsinki, I did not take my camera with me, but I had my phone with me , the sidewalk looked so pretty as the flower arrangements on the lamp posts brightened the view.

Rutto puisto (Plague park)

The old church is surrounded by a graveyard, they buried victims of the plague epidemic in 1710, that is the origin of the name Ruttopuisto (Plague Park), the 48 remaining grave stones are from 1790-1829.

This is a very popular park for picnics due to its location in the center of Helsinki.

MakroTex – Sight (näkö)

Makrotex asked to photograph sight (näkö) a touch one. I see the world through these eyes, my eyesight is getting worse all the time, so my art and paintings are becoming more impressionist as time goes by or abstract. My photos I try to keep sharp and focused.
