No words, no explanations. Just random shots of September.

Karan hallit / industrial area in Kera

February 20th

I have been posting lots of shots from different beaches, here is one more post about, well beaches. The one here is from Suinonsalmi here in Finland, not so inviting at this time of year that’s for sure. Cold and windy, no snow or ice.

How to survive November~30

Yes! Yeah, I made it without any physical injuries. Only a slightly more moody and bored mental state. Tomorrow,  it is December and then it is eleven days to my vacation. Countdown may begin. Here are some more sunset photos.

How to survive November~29

Almost over, November the grayest month of all. Darkness is so strong, but there has been few nice sunsets too. Here is one witnessed at a small boat pier. Looking the other way you saw sunset and on the other moon rising.

How to survive November ~16

Sunshine !! I am so happy, today after many days of gray skies, drizzle or rain we had a half cloudy day, and yes, we got to see the sun and a sunset. It always amazes me the power the sun and light has. It was nice looking the other way you saw sun setting and in the other direction the half moon rising. It is now 16:37 as I stared doing this post and its dark outside.

April 4

This morning while driving to work I witnessed a beautiful sunrise in the mist. I so wished that I was taking photos some where other than a moving car through dirty car windows. but what can you do, one needs to work. So my apologies for the quality of the photos, but considering the way I took them I am rather pleased .

December 24,25 and 26

Christmas came and went with out the white snowy Christmas I wished for, but it was a nice traditional celebration with family. Lots of food and chocolates. There are few days left of this year and few more blue and white photos to be posted…2017-2 Seaside-9

Villa Rullud

Villa Rulludd, is located at the seaside on a beautiful peninsula. It is a rare remaining example of early villa architecture of the coast of Uusimaa province. It is also a journey into more than a century of summers and the rich and colourful villa life of the Kihlman family.

The Espoo Cathedral interior

The church was originally designed in the late 15th century by an unknown “Espoo master” and built between 1485 and 1490 under his supervision. The only remaining parts of the medieval church are the eastern and western parts of the nave. The weapons room was removed between 1804 and 1806 and certain other parts of the church, including the original sacristy, were taken apart between 1821 and 1823 when the building was converted into a more spacious cruciform church.

The vaults and walls of the older parts of the cathedral are decorated with murals, largely painted in the 1510s, that depict both biblical scenes and events in the daily life of the people. The paintings were covered in the 18th century as they were thought to be “crude and superstitious” but uncovered again and conserved during renovations in 1931. The current campanile of the cathedral was completed in 1767 and its top part was redone between 1868 and 1869.( Wikipedia)
