How to survive November 2023 – 22

Today the sunrise was at 8:39 and sunset 15:38. Snow is in the forecast today, it is colder due to the wind factors it feels like -7C /20F so a bit nippy. Can you guess… its a gray day again.

This morning like all mornings I wake up to the smell of coffee coming from the kitchen. Not in the sense of to realize the truth about one’s situation : to become aware of what is really happening.

Well, I am aware what’s happening I am waking up for a new gray day. Most of my mornings for breakfast I enjoy a mug of coffee and some bread with it . It hadn’t even crossed my mind to take photo of bread, but I got inspired by Janet’s loaf of bread and thought I’ll take a photo of my breakfast bread today. And I did this time it was Cashew – Cranberry Ciabatta -tasty bread with cranberries and whole cashew nuts. No wine for me in the morning so my photos are more mundane

Today the sunrise was at 8:37 and sunset 15:40. it is light gray, I did see a bit of blue sky while driving to meet a friend for coffee.

So, once again I am posting a mug of coffee. I made a spontaneous request to a friend, hoping she was available to have a cup of coffee with me and most importantly to her what’s going on in her life.

So, a mug of Coffee Latte

My Morning

The challenge was to photograph your morning. It was hard to come up with shot that would give an inkling of what my morning is like…here are shots I took, the top one is the one I admitted to the challenge…coffee, daily paper – breakfast.

My morning

The hardest part is to leave the warmth of the bed… slowly adjusting, pull a socks on, look out the window  to see the weather  –  breakfast – enjoy the company of my pets, and finally its time to paint my face on…

What a good day
