Wednesday around the world!!

This was what I saw as I walked towards the tram after work.1-WP_000340 2-WP_000338

Sunset was nicely coloring the Helsinki Cathedral A distinctive landmark in the Helsinki cityscape, with its tall, green dome surrounded by four smaller domes, the building is in the neoclassical style. It was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel as the climax of his Senate Square layout: it is surrounded by other, smaller buildings designed by him.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Juxtaposition

I had to look up this word – now I hope I have understood it. A juxtaposition is “the act of placing things side by side, especially for the purpose of comparison or contrast” — as in this shot. This shot is – old and new – different size and color .
