Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: stump of a tree

This weekend we spent most of our time clearing the woods behind our house, this stump of a tree once again shows natures own art,  if you look closely.

Oddly beautiful detail don’t you think?

As in many of my previous posts, this is from our local church, it has beautiful windows and the trees reflect nicely from them.

A Photo a Week Challenge: Sharpness

I experimented this with  few photos, here you can see the outcome. Moderately used this is a great tool to use,  First photo is the original.

Miko miko 2 miko 3

in the last photo as it was sharpened too much it came granular.

In these the difference is significant and worth the trouble  – the detail are much more clear. Also I did add a little contrast too 🙂

Welcome to Wednesday around the world!!

I visited the local church…

When was the construction work actually started on the grey-granite church which now gives its profile to Kirkkonummi centre? Already in the 13th century or as late as in the 15th century? Experts still have varying opinions about the point of time. However, one thing is for certain: after the construction was started there has been additions to the church, and it has reached a magnificent cruciform shape and space for 550 people.

Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Wildflowers

I think we can pretty much find some wildflowers by now, for a real challenge don’t use archive pics…get out and take some new pics,, so after this prompt, I did go to the forest.

I will post photos I saw today, I started walking along  the path in the first photo, looking for flowers. It was partly cloudy today- helps with yellow flowers, but so cold.  Unfortunately I cannot name most of these.I continues further into the forest, but I will post those later.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring II

Spring surprises us, yesterday and today we have had showers of hail, and rain and sleet. Sun has also come out between all these variations of weather.
I took these photos 15 min ago, and now the sun is shining. The wonders of spring weather.
