Beautiful morning enjoying nature is good for the mind and soul

It was one of those perfect Finnish autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.
adapted from P.D. James

Anyone who has followed my for a longer period of time ( I have been on WordPress for NINE years) knows I love the sea, sailboats and clouds. I captured these when visiting Kopparnäs, Inkoo last Sunday. I got so much pleasure watching the beautiful glimmering sea and the sailboats in the distance. If you look closely you might spot a swan there too. I hope was able to capture my feelings of the moment in these photos.

Kopparnäs rock area is a multi-streaked rock type; the toughest the rock types are quartz-feldspar gneiss alongside the stripe is gneiss, granite and some shale rock types.

It was Sunday again and it was sunny again, we went out of the house again. Lots of repeats! Last time we went to this place, it was on the Storvik side in the spring. Now in autumn we are on the more rocky side, in my opinion, at Kopparnäs. Lovely place, not crowded this time, families and couples strolling the seaside. In this post, I have photos from the forest and our walking campions, our two grandsons.

All’s well, what’s a rainy day? / Never mind that cloud, behind that cloud you’ll find a golden ray.

Cherries to to cherish.

Apple a day….

Snails are a nuisance in the garden, they leave slim and holed leaves behind as the move around the garden.
I captured these droplets after a rain, even if I say so myself, I like it 🙂

This time of the year one is for sure not without things to photograph, I’ve taken these from our summer house, where the nature is near and present at all times. I know I post similar photos every year, but I am also delighted by them yearly.

I am self-isolating at my summer house and once again documenting the spring miracles that brighten our minds and spirits every year. The light is so strong up-lifter of the mood. We have lots of light now and I am so happy about it, as I am about the new green, beginnings of summer.

Weekend finds from the summer house. The beautiful greens…
I really enjoy this time of year, I marvel it at every spring. The nature coming out and bringing the fresh greens and yellows out for our enjoyment. The spring has had a boost the past week – I am loving it.

Mountains covered with snow in June was a beautiful sight in Vancouver, the beauty of the nature has left me a lasting impression.
I am rather happy with this first capture of a Sacred Ibis, I saw In Sydney, Australia at our visit there: I named this post first, A Stork, it is in fact a Sacred Ibis I was kindly informed. So correction is in order.

I love the green moss and the back light of February coming from behind it.

It is so weird, it is supposed to be heart of winter and our nature is at least two months ahead. We have all the signs of spring here. I took a walk outside, no rain but a beautiful sunny day to capture oddness of this winter.

While entering to the Point Lobos National Reserve I took these small details by the side of the road.

Fresh from the camera. I took these this morning as I was waiting for the car to warm up a bit.

What can I say; the sunset was beautiful. The sky changed colors constantly and the point of focus changed the tone of the shot dramatically. I was even able to capture stars ( white spots on the photo) with out a tripod.
