Sailing to marina

I am in a slump, you know, I want to do things, I paln to do things, it is my intention and then, I do nothing. Here is one thing I decided to do, and finaly did. A post,

I took these yesterday at Porkkala Marina, we had a lovely brunch there and saw of this wonderful old sailboat, sitting at the dock wathing the ripples on the water. So peaceful…

Glimmering sea

Anyone who has followed my for a longer period of time ( I have been on WordPress for NINE years) knows I love the sea, sailboats and clouds. I captured these when visiting Kopparnäs, Inkoo last Sunday. I got so much pleasure watching the beautiful glimmering sea and the sailboats in the distance. If you look closely you might spot a swan there too. I hope was able to capture my feelings of the moment in these photos.

Today is supposedly the last day of summer according to article I read in the paper. The rains are coming down on us from tomorrow. Lets see what happens…

But in the mean while here is a photo I want to share. I am starting my fall by taking on painting again and I will also start to study / do sculpture after few years of doing nothing on either of these hobbies of mine. And the photo – I thought I would use this photo as an inspiration on my first painting.

Afternoon in Hernesaari

I spent a beautiful afternoon in Hernesaari, Helsinki as sailboat sailed in to the fog. The fog came and went so quickly. It was so lovely to watch as the shades of blue changed and softened and sharpened again.
