MONOCHROME MADNESS: High- for MM 3-12
It has been a long time since I took part in Monochrome Madness , I always seem to be a day late. The images there are worth looking at so have a look at the other entries too, lots of talented photographers participate in this challenge.
Here is my entry for this week, the theme was HIGH – Eiffel towel in Paris is that…I played with two images and ended up sending this highly edited version. Most of the time I want my photos to be as natural as possible, this time I chose differently, comments?

I love how the pine trees grow near the sea, how the wind and sun mold them in to these beautiful things. These are taken at Porkkalanniemi, Kirkkonummi.
The light will win, in time
Last week I lost my sister to a very brief battle of cancer. My mood has been sad and forlorn. I have not been able consentrate in photos… Yesterday I sat by the sea at Porkkalanniemi and the there was rain approaching us and clear sunshine at the other side…In time this is how I will feel the dark rain filled clouds will clear to a more sunny time.

afternoon, the sun was setting and the cold nippy weather was felt on my fingers as I stopped to take photos by the lake of boats that were turned down for winter.

October weekend in the country
The autumn has reached the point that this weekend we closed our summer home for this year. What a beautiful weekend it was, sunshine and nice temperatures. the sunset was amazing in its glory( an other post ) I took time to walk in the fields and document the colors.
