by the sea

I took these photos with my mobile, as it is always with me…the misty day as seen at the bay in Kivenlahti.

Dark clouds

amazing-sky-9

During our visit to French Riviera we saw this amazing sky, so deep colors and beautiful contrast between the colors of the sea and the intensity of the clouds – amazing sight!

Pine trees

I love how the pine trees grow near the sea, how the wind and sun mold them in to these beautiful things. These are taken at Porkkalanniemi, Kirkkonummi.

The light will win, in time

Last week I lost my sister to a very brief battle of cancer. My mood has been sad and forlorn. I have not been able consentrate in photos… Yesterday I sat by the sea at Porkkalanniemi and the there was rain approaching us and clear sunshine at the other side…In time this is how I will feel the dark rain filled clouds will clear to a more sunny time.Porkkalanniemi-Finland-04590

Before sunset

I was in Vancouver, visiting my sister who is terminally ill, it has been emotionally hard visit. Due to that my blogging has been non existant.

The mountains around the area are so beautiful and looking at the natures beauty has calming effect which helped. These mountains and sea – aah, so lovely prior sunset.

Dona Paula Beach

This place is located close to Miramar beach in Panaji . Lanes leading to this place are narrow  and under construction. Our driver took us through the locals way. This place has a nice promenade right into the sea and there are many shops on one side selling local handicrafts, clothes and snacks. the other tourists were mainly locals. We climbed up the stairs to the top and enjoy a great view of the vast Arabian sea in front.

Afternoon in Hernesaari

I spent a beautiful afternoon in Hernesaari, Helsinki as sailboat sailed in to the fog. The fog came and went so quickly. It was so lovely to watch as the shades of blue changed and softened and sharpened again.

Beach paradise on the Andaman Sea

Thailands  beach paradise, Railay Beach also frequently referred to as Rai Leh or Rai Lay — is a small peninsula just south of the town of Ao Nang, Krabi. It’s attached to Krabi’s mainland, but cut off by towering limestone cliffs from all the roads and towns.

This isolation from the mainland, and the complete absence of cars and roads, gives Railay Beach a very island feel. All photos in this gallery can be enlarged by a click
