How to Survive November 2017 -5

The reflection on a train window – not something I get to photograph that often or that it would come to my mind to do so, but it is November. And the sun was shining again today. That is a wow factor for sure!

Abandoned house in BC

abandoned house--23

I visited British Columbia year and half ago, while driving in the coutryside I walked into this abandoned farm house. I think these are documentary photos. I find it odd in away that such decay transforms into rather interesting photographs, what do you think. Have I been able to capture the decay and odd beauty into these shots?

How to Survive November 2017 -1

How to Survive November 2017 is topic a fellow blogger https://lepis.wordpress.com  uses and I thought I’d do something similar, totally random shots with slightly different twist to me regular photos,  that is, context wise. I don’t know if I am able to skip my style. As you may know November is dark, and wet, the most depressing month of the year here in Finland and you need to something to survive.

Here is my first one, five days late… dear in wonderland (10)

Topic being food landscape…not something I would normally do (play with food) or  post on my blog 🙂

walk continues

I love these crooked pine trees that the wind and weather has shaped.

the walk

As we arrived we had to walk through old woods, and rocky paths. As the wind mostly blows from the sea nearly all the trees lean towards inland. The first part of the walk is rather dark and this area has lots of fallen down spruce trees. They are left in the woods to decay as nature intended so the nature will continue to be as diverse as possible.

On our way to Porkkalanniemi we saw a flock of swans on a field, a local man saw me taking photos and stopped to tell me that they had been there for a week. On our way there we saw three deer’s on the field, but as we drove home there was at least ten of them.
