I went to look for clouds outside, but lately it has been just gray sky or like to today wonderful blue sky with no clouds. So I searched my archives. For these black and white shots/ edits of clouds.

At this week shades of colours are found from beryl. I went through my archives again with these results.

This week topic is roads. Here are some roads I have traveled. Road, street, highway in the city and countryside under clouds, mist and trees just to give the photo some effect.

I have been posting lots of shots from different beaches, here is one more post about, well beaches. The one here is from Suinonsalmi here in Finland, not so inviting at this time of year that’s for sure. Cold and windy, no snow or ice.

It is the time of the year when all SOME channels are filled with pictures of tulips. Why not, they are very colorful and elegant flowers in their simplicity. You guessed it, here are my interpretations for this year of this iconic flower.

I know you must be tired of seeing my photos of beaches and cliffs, I don’t care. We stopped here also for a moment (Pomponio State Beach) . I have admit that these too are photos that do justice to the atmosphere on the beach that day, I rather like these. I also did a set of these photos that I edited rather strongly, I do like them also and I will post them in a separate post.

This beach is located 12 miles south of Half Moon Bay along the San Mateo coastline, this area provides access to miles of gently sloping, sandy beaches at the base of high sandstone bluffs.
At this week shades of colours are found from chrysolite. I am having so much fun planning and doing these collages and at the same time going through my photo archives. Discovering photos I did not remember I’ve taken. Some are truly finds 🙂 So much for modesty! I did three just for the fun of it 🙂

somewhere on the coast of Big Sur we saw these men fishing among one of the many beautiful spots on this drive. I have to admit the light during this moment is great These are one of my favorites photos on a way, due to the lightning.

McWay Falls( 80-foot-tall (24 m) waterfall) is “that” waterfall in Big Sur that everyone has seen and many have photographed. That now includes me. The Cliff areas beyond the fenced boundaries, including the beach, saddle rock and the falls area are completely off limits. So the end of the trail was where you could take the photos. Our time of visit was not the best as the light was rather harsh, but we did not have the opportunity and time to pick the time of the visit.

Having a cup of latte at a local Café .
The Inn at Spanish Bay at sunset. I have to say it was a truly memorable experience to relax by the warm fire pits with some hors d’oeuvres and cocktails to wait for the sunset and hear and enjoy the sounds of the bagpiper as he puts the golf course to sleep in Scottish tradition. Once in a life time for me that’s for sure!

This is so much fun and meditating, piling rocks on top of each other trying it not to fall. Nice October afternoon was a plus. Would this be your kind of fun?
At this week shades of colors are found from sardius. The shades of colors do offer lots of variations.

Waiting in the car and killing time taking pictures

I love the green moss and the back light of February coming from behind it.

It is so weird, it is supposed to be heart of winter and our nature is at least two months ahead. We have all the signs of spring here. I took a walk outside, no rain but a beautiful sunny day to capture oddness of this winter.

Lovers Point Park has above all become Pacific Grove’s best-loved spot for scenic photography. Because of its unique east-facing location, it is also one of the only spots on the West Coast where you can watch the sun rise over the water, but we were not lucky the morning was gray and misty. Still it was a nice spot to visit first thing in the morning.

Continuing with the pink theme; Lipstick. PINK lipstick. I edited them rather differently, can you pick the one I chose for my challenge. I most probably chose something other than most of you.

One of the groups I participate have color there, but not in collage. This month its pink. Going outside to find pink is not an option. It is a good thing I favor pink in apparel, I have lots of pink scarfs for one thing. I took several photos, does that surprise anyone, no? I took some time to edit them. Now I should pick my favorite, could you help me?

At this week shades of colours are found from sardonyx. Those who know me know that I certainly have hard choice of choosing. So, once again I made two collages, same pics, but different layout and could not choose which one to post. What can you do, you can either like them or not 🙂 that is your choice!

I truly enjoyed this town, I could have stayed there longer. Nice shops, art galleries, restaurants. Nice, clean town for tourists and locals to enjoy. We had breakfast at a place a local recommended, I have to say it was a good recommendation.

Signs are every where, mostly I do not take too much notice of them. These go in the theme what I’ve been posting on the blog lately. My trip to Las Vegas and California. I had to add one from the sign capital, Hong Kong. I have never seen so many signs on a street before.

While entering to the Point Lobos National Reserve I took these small details by the side of the road.
