Piedras Blancas Light Station

The light house was closed, but we stopped to take a photos first from further away and then at the gate. I have a liking to light houses so they are always a photo opportunity to me, I don’t know if you’ve noticed that 🙂

We came across this Elephant Seal Vista Point as we drove the Cabrillo Highway. We were impressed by the sight, one more experience that I had not encountered before. More info of the Elephant Seals

Sea fortress

Visited on of Helsinki’s most popular tourist attractions today. It has been years since I was here. The place has history Suomenlinna (Finnish; until 1918 Viapori), or Sveaborg , literal translation in Finnish is Castle of Finland inhabited sea fortress built on six islands and which now forms part of the city of Helsinki. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and also it as a picturesque picnic site. Originally named Sveaborg. The Swedish crown commenced the construction of the fortress in 1748 as protection against the Russian expansionism. This particular day it was packed with locals as well as tourist as the day was just lovely. Here is some background on the place.

How to survive November~30

Yes! Yeah, I made it without any physical injuries. Only a slightly more moody and bored mental state. Tomorrow,  it is December and then it is eleven days to my vacation. Countdown may begin. Here are some more sunset photos.

June – the light

I love how the light touches the waves of different shades of blues, making the glitter brightly under the dark intense clouds above.sky & sea (1 of 1)-3

Boynton Beach, FL, February 11

I’ve been home for a week, trying to recover from the time difference. Catching up with work and all the normal stuff at home. I am trying to go through my photos, all  2035 + of them.  This photo has all the elements I enjoy, sea, sand, clouds and sun. Florida shots (341 of 2035)

I sat on one of these rocks for a long time watching the waves hit the rocks. Meditating to me. Then I started taking photos of it…these are from Boynton Beach, FL.

January 28

Imagine a historic Italian estate in a spectacular subtropical setting and you’ll begin to imagine Vizcaya! Built as the private winter home of American businessman James Deering in the early 1900s. Sneak peek of this gorgeous place.
