Lazy, or something else, Haven’t been editing my Australia photos as quickly as I would have liked to. Have not even touched the ones I took in Hong Kong. I think, no, I know, I have not taken my camera out but only once since January. I think I am slightly depressed as I am not able to create anything new, I plan, I plan again, but then I don’t get anything done. My head is in a mist.
Have you been at this kind of a slump in your photography. You know, why do this, there are so many better, more creative and talented people out there. Who cares. Point being, I have always done this for me, never had any real ambition to be something. Just to share, the world as I see it. Come spring, hopefully, I will get back on the track.

Sjundby river in winter. What a beautiful and photogenic place

Caseys Beach in Batehaven, beautiful.

We also visited St Kilda Pier it’s history dates back to 1853. Providing panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay, the pier is a popular destination. I liked how I was able to capture the skyline behind the sailboats at the pier. The opportunity to see a penguin in it’s natural habit at a place like this was something unexpected.

It has been a while since I updated anything. I had a lovely trip to Australia, I took so, so, so many photos that I don’t know what to do with them. Editing and trying to post them in some kind of order… I’m stuck, but here is one as I do have to start somewhere. We visited Sydney and had a look Queen Victoria Building . Rather beautiful shopping center. Amazing thing is, I did not buy anything.

love the beaches…
Sunshine !! I am so happy, today after many days of gray skies, drizzle or rain we had a half cloudy day, and yes, we got to see the sun and a sunset. It always amazes me the power the sun and light has. It was nice looking the other way you saw sun setting and in the other direction the half moon rising. It is now 16:37 as I stared doing this post and its dark outside.
Is autumn now over, first snow fell today. These are taken with my mobile

Driving from Porkkala in the afternoon we passed this field with the woods in the background and a river with deep blue water. This sight appealed to me, mostly due to the light, the low light if autumn is beautiful. The lone walker on the road also caught my attention.
Dawn from lingeringvisions has started a celebration of fall #Festival of Leaves here is one more photo to this challenge.
Driving to Porkkala in the morning we passed this field with a touch of mist still visible. This sight appealed to me, mostly due to the light. Looking to two directions from the same spot the light was totally different. The low light if autumn is beautiful.

a house on a hill continues my photos of houses behind trees. I seem to have framed them all with the trees with beautiful autumn colors. Call me predictable
